Shelter House Recognizes HITT for Corporate Philanthropy
Over the past 18 months, we've steadily built a strong relationship with Shelter House, a community-based, non-profit organization serving homeless families in Fairfax County, Virginia. We're continually seeking new ways to support their mission of providing crisis intervention, safe housing and supportive services, doing what we can to help them promote self-sufficiency for homeless families and victims of domestic violence.
At their recent Volunteer Appreciation event, we had the honor of being recognized by Shelter House for those efforts, taking home the Corporate Impact Award for Excellence in Philanthropy. The intention behind our outreach has never been about accolades; to receive this honor is nothing short of humbling.
Our involvement with Shelter House exists at every level of our organization, from interns to owners. Through shelter improvement service days, computer donations, drives to collect holiday toys, hygiene items, and interview suits, we are proud to give generously of our time and resources.
We look forward to building upon the foundation of philanthropy we've already established with Shelter House, doing even more to help them improve our community and quality of life for those in need in our area.
