HITT Contracting Inc. to Host Safety Week 2015 Kick-Off Event with ABC National and Power Design, Inc.

Bilingual training to coincide with start of OSHA National Safety Stand-Down to Prevent Falls in Construction

Falls Church, VA – HITT Contracting Inc. (HITT) today announced they will mark the beginning of Safety Week 2015 and the Occupational Safety & Health Administration’s (OSHA) National Safety Stand Down to Prevent Falls in Construction campaign by hosting a jobsite tour and bilingual Toolbox Talk safety training sessions Monday, May 4, in Washington, D.C.

The event will be hosted in conjunction with Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) National and Power Design, Inc. at the HITT mixed use development project jobsite for Atlantic Plumbing located at 2137 9th St. NW, Washington, D.C. 20001. Both HITT and Power Design, Inc. are ABC member companies.

“We are excited to have the opportunity to demonstrate our continual work in helping our ABC member companies reach their goal of zero incident jobsites,” said ABC President and CEO Mike Bellaman. “We look forward to joining HITT and Power Design on their jobsite and to our continued relationship with other industry groups and OSHA in helping further develop safety cultures where everyone is uncompromising toward construction safety.”

Media availability for both ABC President and CEO Mike Bellaman and HITT Executive Vice President Jeremy Bardin will be held following the job site tour. Media availability also will be held with additional representatives from HITT and Power Design following the Toolbox Talk safety training sessions.
