Overview

The new golf clubhouse was built on the 18th hole of a Jack Nicklaus golf course for the Potomac Shores luxury resort community along the scenic Potomac River. The two-level clubhouse features approximately 9,000 sf of public space on the main level and a 9,000-sf golf cart parking garage in the rear basement area.

The interior boasts vaulted ceilings with exposed timber trusses, extensive millwork and granite features, natural hardwood floors throughout the pro shop, locker rooms, dining and living rooms, and a full-service kitchen. The building’s exterior consists of natural cedar wood siding, columns, and trim as well as elaborate brick façades and chimneys to complement the rustic Virginia landscape. Extensive utility work, hardscaping, and landscaping were completed featuring new brick patios, wraparound porches to enjoy the picturesque surroundings, and a lush green lawn offering ample event space.
