HR Vice President Lauren Bediako

We have been a people-first company since our founding; as Brett Hitt often states, “a company is only as good as its people.” Our Human Resources team holds a key stake in the people function of our company. They are responsible for attracting key talent and ensuring an employee experience that cultivates engagement and retention. In 2016, HITT further invested in our people-first culture with the hire of Vice President Lauren Bediako. As VP of HR, Lauren’s mission is to ensure the company keeps pace with innovations in HR and maintains focus on our team members as the foundation of HITT’s future.

Lauren Bediako brings more than 15 years of experience in HR leadership. She is passionate about driving employee engagement that ultimately improves company performance and business growth. Lauren leads our recruiting, training, payroll, benefits, talent and organizational development, and HITT Futures programs. She is dedicated to providing our people access to the resources necessary to manage their careers and propel their growth and development. Under Lauren’s direction, HITT recently implemented an HR Business Partner program, with dedicated team members serving as liaisons to improve the HR experience.
